Arkansas Tech University students had the opportunity to pay tribute to those impacted by the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, during an event on Sunday.
The event entitled “We Remember: Being the Light in a Fearful World” offered university and community members the opportunity to reflect on the 15th anniversary of the attacks that took the lives of almost 3,000 individuals.
Sunday’s remembrance event was hosted by several campus groups including the Arkansas Tech International and Multicultural Student Services Office, the Arkansas Tech Office of Veteran Services and the Arkansas Tech Department of Diversity and Inclusion.
