Arkansas Tech University welcomed the Class of 2020 to the Tech family on Tuesday during the annual freshman convocation at Tucker Coliseum.
Presented by the deans of their respective colleges, the freshmen learned about the history of Arkansas Tech and its mission to provide educational opportunities to students.
Arkansas Tech President Dr. Robin E. Bowen greeted the class and encouraged the students to take full advantage of the opportunity they’d had been given to attend college.
Class at Arkansas Tech University will begin on Wednesday.
