Game One: Arkansas Tech 7, OBU 0 Morgan Vaughan and Kelsie Barker pitched a combined shutout in a 7-0 Arkansas Tech victory over Ouachita Baptist in game one on Saturday. Vaughan (8-3) limited the Tigers to four hits over six innings. Barker retired OBU without incident in the top of the seventh. Ashley Savage hit a two-run home run, Janie Knowles notched a two-run single and Chelsea Reeves hit a three-run home run for the Golden Suns. OBU starter Macy Nantz (4-12) was tagged for seven runs, four of which were earned, on eight hits in three and two-thirds innings. Game Two: Arkansas Tech 8, OBU 0 Arkansas Tech sent the patrons home early with a mercy-rule shortened 8-0 triumph in the nightcap. Victoria Huie (11-4) went the distance in the circle for the Golden Suns. She pitched a four-hit shutout. Whitney Robinson, Jalissa Gum, Chelsea Reeves, Miranda Dupree and Shanna Davidson had two hits apiece for Arkansas Tech.
