Arkansas Tech University professor Dr. Theresa Herrick will have the opportunity to use her skills and training to give back to the Russellville community.
Herrick, professor of recreation and park administration, has been appointed to a position on the Russellville Recreation and Parks Commission.
The commission guides the city in providing facilities, recreation programs and community events for the citizens of Russellville.
In addition to her 30-year tenure at Arkansas Tech, she has been involved in the Advertising and Promotion Commission and the River Valley United Way.
