Individuals interested in being a member of the 2015-16 Arkansas Tech Spirit Squads are invited to audition for a position. Members of the Arkansas Tech Spirit Squads perform at athletic events, campus activities and serve as representatives of the university. Those wishing to be a member of the Arkansas Tech Cheerleaders or the Arkansas Tech Golden Girls should submit a video audition by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 showcasing required skills for the first round of auditions. A link to the audition video should be emailed to spiritsquads@atu.edu. Candidates selected to take part in the second round of auditions will be invited to a campus clinic and tryout on May 7-8. Those invited to the clinic will be required to pay a $30 tryout fee, which will be due on May 7. In order to be considered for either squad, students must be considered full-time students and be in good academic standing with the university.
