Arkansas Tech University has won three of its first five matches of the 2019 tennis season.
After sweeping past Ouachita Baptist University and Henderson State University to open the season, the Golden Suns took down regionally-ranked University of Nebraska-Kearney 4-3 in a non-conference match at the Burns Park Tennis Center in North Little Rock on Feb. 28.
ATU has followed that victory with narrow losses to Southern Arkansas University and Dallas Baptist University.
The Golden Suns (3-2) will return to action on Wednesday, March 6, with a non-conference home match against John Brown University. First serve is booked for 2 p.m. Admission to the Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex in Russellville will be free.
