Two Alumni Named to Foundation Board
Mike McSpadden of Alma and Todd Meimerstorf of Russellville are the newest additions to the Arkansas Tech University Foundation Board of Directors.
McSpadden graduated from Russellville High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from ATU in 1978. His 40-year career in the Alma School District began as a teacher and coach in 1979. McSpadden went on to serve the district as assistant high school superintendent from 1986-98 and as assistant superintendent from 1998-2019. He retired at the end of the 2018-19 academic year as assistant superintendent for school operations and athletic director.
Meimerstorf is a Dover High School graduate. A member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity during his college days, Meimerstorf graduated from ATU in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He has been a member of the Russellville banking community since 1999. He joined Centennial Bank in 2014 and serves as its Russellville market president. Meimerstorf has served as chairman of the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as president of the Russellville Lions Club.
The mission of the ATU Foundation is to “promote the welfare and future development of Arkansas Tech University.” In fulfilling that mission, the foundation receives private gifts made through various giving programs and then administers those funds to benefit ATU students.
