Final work is underway for the redesign of the university website, www.atu.edu.
The website, which is set to go live the week of Aug. 27, will feature revamped navigation and full-screen functionality. University Marketing and Communication (MARCOMM) redesigned the website as a tool to aid in student recruitment and retention.
As final preparations are underway for the new site, users may experience brief, intermittent site delays. MARCOMM will communicate any needed website outages with the parties involved.
“We are excited to go live on the next iteration of www.atu.edu, and we are ready to showcase our efforts to our end users,” said Carrie Phillips, interim director of MARCOMM. “The work on the site started more than a year ago and has included presentations with the university executive council as well as focus group testing with current and future students.”
Once the site is live, campus departments are encouraged to send representatives to the weekly MARCOMM workshops to address any issues that may arise with the redesigned site.
The workshops are set for:
- Tuesdays at 9 a.m. in Dean Hall room 102
- Fridays at 10 a.m. in Crabaugh Hall room 310
Should departments have immediate web concerns, they may contact MARCOMM at (479) 498-6038.
