Arkansas Tech University split a pair of Great American Conference volleyball matches this week.
The Golden Suns dropped a 25-23, 25-22, 25-18 decision to Henderson State University at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Tuesday.
Greer Rogers made 11 kills and Amanda Milnick notched a double-double (27 assists, 15 digs) for ATU.
Arkansas Tech bounced back to defeat the University of Arkansas-Monticello 25-18, 24-26, 25-17, 26-24 at Steelman Field House in Monticello on Thursday.
Hunter Eshnaur led the Suns to victory with 18 kills and 19 digs. Tabitha Spray (11 kills) and Mackenzie Eford (10 kills) also reached double figures in kills. Milnick was credited with 42 assists.
Arkansas Tech (9-7 overall, 3-2 GAC) will play three home matches over the coming week. The Golden Suns will host Lyon College at 6 p.m. Monday, Southeastern Oklahoma State University at 6 p.m. Friday and East Central University at 2 p.m. Saturday. Admission to Tucker Coliseum will be free.
