Fall 2020 semester virtual tutoring sessions for Arkansas Tech University students on the Russellville campus will begin Sunday, Aug. 30.
The service is available at no cost to ATU students through the APEX Tutoring Center. Tutors will be available Sundays-Thursdays from 4-8 p.m. during the fall 2020 semester.
Students seeking tutoring services are asked to make an appointment in advance using TutorTrac. Information about signing up for tutoring is available at www.atu.edu/tutoring.
“Peer tutoring is an opportunity for students to meet 1-on-1 with a certified ATU student who has been carefully selected to tutor in a particular course,” said Mike Bogue, director of the APEX Tutoring Center. “Peer tutors are trained and certified following the College Reading and Learning Association guidelines in tutoring certification levels one and two.”
