A free screening of the film “Blame It on Wayne” by Arkansas Tech University alumnus Ryan Taylor is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 16, at ATU’s Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall.
The showing will begin at 5 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
“Blame It On Wayne” is the third and final film in a comedic trilogy that began with “Watch Out for Wayne” in 2003. “Adventures of Wayne” followed in 2005. After nearly two decades, Taylor revisited the characters to tell the story of a fishing trip gone wrong and Wayne’s efforts to exonerate himself after he is wrongly accused of a crime.
Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with an emphasis in broadcast and video production from Arkansas Tech. He has worked at his alma mater since 2005 and currently serves as video production manager in the ATU marketing office.
The Wayne trilogy was created by Taylor’s private video production company, F1rst Person Productions.
