Arkansas Tech University finished eighth among a field of 15 women’s golf teams at the St. Edward’s University Invitational in Austin, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday.
The Golden Suns posted team scores of 308 and 315 for a 36-hole total of 623. Florida Tech won the tournament with a two-day total of 597.
Avery Struck was Arkansas Tech’s top individual finisher. She returned scores of 77-78 for a share of 19th place with a 36-hole total of 155.
Pia Nunbhakdi (T-23rd, 76-80-156), Caroline Fredensborg (T-28th, 76-81-157), Anna Frandsen (T-36th, 82-77-159) and Jessica Sachs (T-36th, 79-80-159) also competed for the Golden Suns in Austin.
The Golden Suns will compete in the Midwestern State University Invitational March 14-15 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
