Sixteen base hits by University of Arkansas-Monticello hitters and 14 walks issued by Arkansas Tech University pitchers added up to a 16-4 Boll Weevils’ win over the Wonder Boys in non-conference baseball at Carl Baswell Field in Russellville on Tuesday.
Zack Kesterson drove in three runs for Arkansas Tech (27-19).
The Wonder Boys will close out the regular season by hosting Harding University for a three-game Great American Conference series at Carl Baswell Field on Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27.
First pitch is booked for 6 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.
