Arkansas Tech will put its eight-game winning streak in Great American Conference baseball games on the line Friday night against Southern Arkansas.
The Wonder Boys (25-22 overall, 13-8 GAC) and the Muleriders (29-14, 14-7) will throw out the first pitch at 6 p.m. Friday at Goodheart Field in Magnolia. The game can be heard on KWKK 100.9 FM.

Arkansas Tech’s eight-game winning streak in league play has allowed the Wonder Boys to move from eighth place to third place in the GAC baseball standings over the past three weeks.
Now Tech enters the final weekend of regular season play with a mathematical shot to win the GAC title. The Wonder Boys are two games behind first-place Southeastern Oklahoma State (31-13, 15-6) and one game behind second-place Southern Arkansas.
The Muleriders are 18-4 in their last 22 games, and they are 14-2 at home this season.
SAU was the preseason favorite to win the GAC title.
Both the Wonder Boys and the Muleriders have already clinched a berth in the inaugural GAC Baseball Tournament, which will be played May 4-7 at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid, Okla.
Arkansas Tech and SAU will conclude their regular season-ending series with a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday. Those games will be available on KCAB 980 AM or by clicking here.
