Other first-round match-ups on Saturday will pit top-seeded Southern Arkansas University (36-14) against sixth-seeded Harding University (27-23) at noon and second-seeded Southwestern Oklahoma State University (31-14) against fifth-seeded University of Arkansas at Monticello (29-18) at 3:30 p.m. The Wonder Boys are making their fourth consecutive postseason baseball appearance, their longest such string ever at the NCAA Division II level. Arkansas Tech’s last postseason title in baseball was the 1985 NAIA District 17 championship. The Wonder Boys were 3-1 against Henderson State during the regular season. Tech defeated the Reddies 9-3 in a non-conference game at Arkadelphia on Feb. 19. The Wonder Boys took 2-of-3 games from HSU during a GAC series in Russellville April 19-20. Tech won game one 6-2 and the series finale 6-1. The Reddies came from behind to defeat the Wonder Boys 8-4 in the middle game of the series.
