Gold Rush Thursday 2020 has arrived at Arkansas Tech University.
Festivities will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, with a Gold Rush party in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Rotunda. Free food, activities and sweatshirts (while supplies last) will be available for students with a valid ATU identification card.
The scene will shift to Tucker Coliseum beginning at 5:30 p.m. for the annual Gold Rush basketball games. The Golden Suns and the Wonder Boys will host Oklahoma Baptist University for a Great American Conference doubleheader. Admission to the games will be free with valid ATU identification card.
Gold Rush is the culmination of the annual Wonder Week celebration. The series of events is designed to build school spirit. Wonder Week is planned and executed by the ATU Student Government Association and the ATU Student Activities Board.
