Arkansas Tech University honored Rita Woolf today, as she retires from Arkansas Tech after 26 years of service.
Nurse Rita, as she is called by students, began working at Arkansas Tech back in 1986.
During today’s reception in the Doc Bryan Student Services Building, Rita said she has “many fond memories” of her time here at Tech.
“I have been honored to work here for the past 26 years,” said Woolf. “When you’ve worked that long at one location, you have many happy memories and great friends. I will miss each of you but am excited for the next chapter of my life.”
Upon her retirement, Woolf is relocating to Fort Smith to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
