Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center at Arkansas Tech University has scheduled a pair of workshops to help students best utilize library resources.
Undergraduate students are invited to a session entitled “Library 101” at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, in Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 300A.
“This workshop will introduce students to the vast library resources and demonstrate the necessary skills for a great research paper,” said Sherry Tinerella, associate librarian for public services at ATU.
Graduate students are invited to a session entitled “Library Toolkit for Grad Students” at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 332.
“This workshop will update students on the latest databases for research,” said Tinerella. “It will also introduce RefWorks, our reference management tool that will make their lives easier.”
